@Jaysondk
qosmio is about 10 times cheaper so u could like keep the qosmio for like a year or 2 and then get a better one in the future.
alien ware is a bit 2 over rated
I have been using this machine for the last 2 months and I have found it very good especially playing videos and screen resolution is super clear. Weight is heavy but remember it is a desktop replacement so I don’t mind.
I will give this machine 10 out of 10
Ehm, i looked at the specs on the toshiba website, and what i’m saying is that it’s a portable desktop all it is, it’s 3x better than my friends computer which can run crysis smoothly on low or medium settings, + i have to add, probably the only reason that the minimum of a desktop isn’t 16cores yet is ’cause Toshiba don’t make desktops
What kills me about this is it’s only a SATA interface from what I read on newegg. This means you can’t even use the newer SSD drives without being bandwidth limited.
2) it doesn’t work that way! i7 base speed is 1.6GHz and max turbo boost speed is 2.8GHz. Regardless of n of cores.
3) GTS 360M is a rebranded 240M, so it gonna be slightly slower than 250M. However it won’t matter much since the naked eye won’t notice the difference.
5) get a notebook with a radeon 5830 to get directx11 support.
Bland marketing video, ambient light is very low to hide glare, desktop image has vignetting so it’s not possible to see if the viewing angle is good as a more uniform image would show.
qosmio can be used for other digital stuff too but alienware is pure gaming only ( best )
I’m getting mine next week!!!!!!!
I want it so much. That awesome thing. ;(
Anything that precomes with a Core i7 is always expensive.
I just ordered 505, I will be writing code and heard this system keyboard is small?
Also does any of you know if I can upgrade the processor ?
I like how he talks about all those features but never really shows them
@sojokes it can play cod6 maxed, css and cs1,6 at once all maxed.
I got this computer, and i am so happy with it!
I recomand it!

No, take a look at notebookcheck the 360m is ranked way above the 250m.
Guys, wondering how your FPS would be playing Crysis.
What would be your fps on high settings?
On ultra-high?
Also wondering if this laptop can play COD6 with maxed out settings
so is this worth getting instead of a nice desktop?
HEy guys should i get this or a desktop. because i can upgrade a desktop and stuff. or this really awesomly worth it?
Amazing laptop but huge difference on price for USA models and European models, I’m just buy one X500 11X for 2.300 euros, about 3.211 US dollars.
